Last weekend, our Trauma Team got to teach individuals from King George Public Schools about how to control bleeding. Attendees included teachers, school resource officers (police officers assigned to the school), cafeteria workers, school nurses, and more. Way to go, Chippenham & Johnston-Willis Trauma Services!
Hear these inspiring words from Stephanie, a breast cancer survivor who talks about how a routine mammogram saved her life. She was diagnosed with DCIS and had a bilateral mastectomy at Johnston-Willis Hospital. Stephanie believes it's now her purpose to encourage all women to get mammograms. Thank you, Stephanie for sharing your story. #WeAreSarah
